What Private Radar does
Private Radar is a consent-based location sharing product for trusted circles. It is designed to let users control whether they share exact location, city-level presence, or nothing at all.
Information we process
Depending on how the product is used, we may process account identity information from ConsentKeys, location visibility preferences, approximate or exact coordinates that you choose to share, relationship edges between accounts, and temporary exact-location ping state.
How visibility works
Private Radar is intended to be privacy-first. Exact location should only be visible when a user explicitly enables exact sharing or accepts a time-boxed ping. City-level or hidden modes are intended to limit exposure.
Authentication
Sign-in is handled through ConsentKeys OIDC. We use that identity layer to determine who a user is and to enforce access control in the application.
Data use
We use the information above to operate the service, enforce sharing preferences, and provide the core trusted-circle location experience. We do not frame this service as a public broadcast or ad-targeting product.
